Here's a MUST-WATCH Video for Think And Grow Rich fans...

You've heard the term "own it".

It means to make something part of you.  To BE it without thinking about it.

... To make it part of your subconscious belief.

When we first picked up a copy of Think and Grow Rich, most of us thought, "does this really work?"    All you have to do is think something and it will come true?

Well, not exactly.

You have to OWN the thought.  It must become an INSEPARABLE part of you.

By the thought being part of your subconscious belief, it truly IS true for you and thus you will attract all that you need to fulfill your goal... to make your thought a reality.

OK... now let's get inspired!

Take a look at this interview with Tiger Woods... the world's best golfer.

NOTE: You don't have to be a golfer or even like golf to get FULL inspirational benefit when you view this "masterpiece".

This guy is as great as he is because he believes he's the best.  And not only that... he is DETERMINED to get better!

I know you'll be moved as I was all the way through this video...

This interview took place right before the Masters.  Winds up Tiger took 2nd and didn't play his best... didn't play his best and placed second in arguably the most prestigious event in golf.  This guy is amazing!

I'd love to hear YOUR COMMENTS on this interview.  Just click in "COMMENTS" below this post and let's hear from you.

Was there a particular THING that Tiger said that really inspired you?

There was for me... but I want to hear what you have to say first!

Self-Respect is CENTRAL to Thinking and Growing Rich. SO, Here's what I did...

One of the key points in the ability to achieve is Believing that you CAN.

You have all these seemingly "grand" things that you want to accomplish for yourself (and perhaps your family), and because you may have failed before or were stalled in previous attempts to accomplish these things, you "let them go"... for later, perhaps.

"Later", in most cases, still hasn't arrived.

You see, you tried, you failed and you really (deep down inside) don't want to try again and "feel" the pain of failure again.

When I was caught in this "try-fail-don't try any more" cycle about 10 years ago, I decided to construct a situation... do something... where I could do "the impossible" and NOT FAIL.

I needed this lofty goal to be something that I could take control of, and if I followed some sort of "proven steps", I could grab the gold ring and shock the world! (my world, at least)

AND...by having success, I knew I could experience, first hand, that the seemingly "impossible" could be accomplished... by ME... and I could conclude that I could do ANYTHING if I had the proven steps and just applied myself unflinchingly.

My decision...

Transform my body from 20% bodyfat to under 10% bodyfat in 6 months.

And I did it!  Here are the results...

Nhbeforeafter1_cropped_3

Please excuse the photographers heavy use of tanning cream... he overdid it a bit... but you can see the results and I actually did it in 5 months... a month early... an achieved an 8.9% bodyfat at 49 years old.

I "brag" a little bit here really just to make my point...

If you have a proven plan you can follow and follow it (in MY CASE, I had a personal trainer help me... part of what I felt would guarantee my results), then when you get the results, you have a personal INNER-IMPRESSION of yourself... that you CAN DO what you set out to do!

And that's where the fun begins.

You see, when you take on your next project, you approach it KNOWING you can and WILL be successful.

I like the idea of starting with "body transformation", because it's a success that follows you around, so to speak.  To THIS DAY, I get compliments on the good shape I'm in... more constant positive re-enforcement that I'm successful!

Plus... good health means positive energy, which feeds achievement.

Here's a suggestion... if you need a plan to transform your body... WITHIN MONTHS, like I did, I suggest you invest a very small amount of money (less than $40!) with friend Rob Poulos.... whose got a step-by-step instructional course on losing fat FAST...

Tap Here to See Rob's Body Transformation Info

I can't tell you how much my 5 months of dedication to changing my body, helped me to realize that I COULD achieve ANYTHING I wanted to achieve... and my mirror keeps reminding me!

When you're successful with changing your body to become fit and lean, you'll feel the same power I do... on a DAILY basis.

Give it a try... you can do it!  (Believe me...if I can do it, you can do it!)

Try my friend Rob's material or find someone else's step-by-step plan that makes sense to you and GET GOING!

If You Create Good Habits, Success Naturally Follows. Here's How...

Did you ever hear the expression... "We are all creatures of habit".

Well, it's true.

Having trouble having the success and money you desire?

How about romance? Are you covered there?

I don't even have to inspect what you're doing to know that you have bad habits... habits that don't support what you 'think' you want.

You see, you have developed subconscious beliefs that are contrary to what you 'think' you want.

If you can just make ONE NEW HABIT... to train your subconscious mind to support what you truly want... you WILL succeed.

When you can (How about right now?), take 14 minutes and take a look at this little film, made in the 1950's that still rings true today.

It's a bit corny... but you'll LOVE it... and watch for the mention near the end the film of "conscious thought"... known to important even in the 50's...

The Value Of Momentum To Your Success (and how to get it)...

Momentum is a law.

When scientists talk about momentum, the talk in terms of "inertia of motion" (a body in motion will stay in motion until put upon by an opposite force).

"On a roll" is a modern form of identifying someone who is experience positive momentum.

Take the New York Giants in the Super Bowl yesterday. Even though they lost their last regular-season game to the New England Patriots, they GAINED momentum. Why? New England had won 15 games in a row and were undefeated going into that game, and although they remained undefeated after beating the Giants in that game, the Giants had put in such a great performance (losing by 3 in a high scoring game), that they started to feel that they could beat the Patriots if they got another chance.

That was the beginning of the momentum, which built through the playoffs, as the Giants, underdogs in every game, mowed down Dallas, then Green Bay, to get to the Super Bowl. The momentum carried them right through to victory over New England for the NFL Championship.

What it should me was that you DON'T EVEN HAVE TO WIN to begin building positive momentum... you just have to TRY!

You have to exert some positive, forward effort to begin momentum.

Then... you just let momentum build on itself as you continue to exert positive forward motion.

You see, as you TRY (take positive action), you begin instituting positive BELIEF... and it's that belief that begins to transform into reality... which justifies your positive thoughts and makes you even stronger as you continue to BELIEVE.

It starts with a try.

So think of some part of your life that you've been stalled in.

Take some positive action.

Continue the positive action, whether you "win" on not after your initial set of actions, you WILL, over time (and not too long!) win in the end!

Try!

Napoleon Hill's Neglect... not enough emphasis on thankfulness

I believe that Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich" is the best "self-help" book ever written.

The book has you take responsibility for your life's outcomes and explains to you why you should... more specifically why you MUST, if you want to craft the life that of your dreams.

I have mixed feelings for those that have re-written "Think And Grow Rich" in part or in whole... updating references that make more sense to the "modern" reader, emphasizing and de-emphasizing principles that are layed out in the book, etc... and for the most part I APPLAUD them.

Digging into the meanings behind Napoleon Hill's thoughts is, I'm sure, what Mr. Hill wanted you to do!

My "mixed thoughts" come from the place where I think, "How can these meddling authors put themselves at the same level as Napoleon Hill as to re-write his teachings?" Pretty heady!

But if you think a little further, Napoleon was all about empowering people. So, aren't we ALL on the same "level" as Mr. Hill?

My self-banter today is largely the result of my having my own "adjustments" to Think And Grow Rich.

Today is Thanksgiving Day in the United States and although one can take issue with what was done to the American Indians by the early settlers (they certainly weren't thankful for all the richness the American Indians gave and had to give), for me, Thanksgiving Day is a day to feel thankful.

Thankful for what I have...my wife, my family, my pets, my "things". Thankful for my potential... knowing how to use my mind to create my reality and seeing all that is available to me.

There are plenty of people with "less" that I have and plenty with "more", but we all have equal potential. Our timelines for achieving may be different, and we are on different places in our "dreams come true" timeline, but our potential is equal.

We all have the ability to create our reality.

I think Napoleon Hill should have given more attention to "Thankfulness" when he wrote Think and Grow Rich, because, to me, it's thankfulness that allows you to ground yourself so that you have a firm jumping off point for your next "move" to growth.

By being thankful for whatever you have (and giving NO emotion to what you don't have), empowers you by filling your psyche with a positive view of yourself and what you have accomplished. In a sense, things can always be worse, so for you, as for me, there are some people with more, some with less and you've taken your place as you have planned it.

So embrace where you are. Be thankful. Understand that you are the creator of your reality.

And use what you know about creating your reality to better the world and yourself.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY to all Americans and to All Around the World.

For The "Early-Stage" Entrepreneurs Who Read This Blog (and, well, Everybody Else!)...

I have come to understand that those who read this blog do so for very varied reasons.

Some of you work at 9-5 jobs and want to "break out"... some wanted to climb higher on the corporate ladder, others to start their own enterprises.

Some of you are stay-at-home moms and dads, who visit here to get inspired to create the life of their dreams.

There are scientists who have a fascination with the mind and how it works.

Waiters, waitresses, high school and college students, retirees, doctors, attorneys, accountants, nurses...

I've heard from you all at one time or another, asking and posing questions to me about how the mind works and how we can use Napoleon Hill's principles to achieve greater heights for ourselves and others... and yes... how we can help each other.

I received a surprising (to me) number of "I liked that video" emails from you about the Ron Finkelstein video on my last post. NOTE: I wish you would post using the COMMENT button below rather than write me your general thoughts... this way all our readers can benefit from you wisdom and concerns).

I hear you!  You liked it!

I've chosen another of Ron's video's (he's a reader of this blog...so thank you, Ron, for the ability to post your work) to post here... and although the content is directed toward the Early-Stage Entrepreneur, the "7 Behaviors of Business Success" applies to EVERYONE.

Again... there is nothing really new here to avid readers of this blog, but I think you'll like this 11-minute video because, as many of you commented, Ron has a very relaxed style of delivery and yet motivational...

Of the Seven Behaviors Ron talks about, which do YOU think is the most important (and why)?

Want Success? The High Points of "How To Succeed"

The great thing about Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich" is that he gives you the basic principles of success and then lays out the process to employ those principles.

So why aren't we all succeeding to the degree that we want to?

You could say, "Life gets in the way" or some such "motto", but the fact is YOU get in your own way.

We tend to excuse ourselves for not following through on what we know we should be doing to succeed. And one excuse leads to another and the "rut" in our life continues.

When I realized this about myself... realized that I was sabotaging myself... I mean, I know what I need to do.. had all the tools, but wasn't using those tools... I turned to something that worked to turn things around for me.

That "something" was committing to keeping the "secrets of success" in front of me at all times.... feeding myself, every day, with reminders of what I could accomplish if I took action.

I was recently introduced to a reader of this blog, Ron Finkelstein... a trainer and motivator of sorts... who has a very calming and effective way of communicating all the success tools I've been talking about here in this post.

In fact, this particular video (below) hits on just about EVERY CHAPTER TITLE in "Think And Grow Rich" and is an example of the kind to "food" I like to feed my brain...

Ron calls it "What Does Success Mean To You"...

Now, why not share with others how YOU keep yourself motivated to do the things you need to do to succeed?

Take it from Tony Buzan on "How To Learn"...

If you've never heard of Tony Buzan, here's a quick chance to get to know him.

Did you ever listen to a speaker and right from the beginning... as he's talking.. you say to yourself, "Wow, this guy is impressive!".

That's the "hit" I got when I watched this video clip. And my guess is you will, too.

Mr. Buzan is considered the father of "mind mapping", a process to lay out your thinking patterns on paper to help you get things done more efficiently, but more importantly, tends to unleash your creativity as you are planning.

Well, it's CREATIVITY that is the theme of this film clip.

Mr. Buzan speaks here in front of a group of teachers and starts by asking something very profound...

(and I'm paraphrasing) "Is it better to learn everything there is to learn AND THEN learn HOW to learn? OR Is it better to learn HOW to Learn FIRST and then learn everything there is to learn?"

Well, of course, 100% of the teachers in the audiance raised their hands to affirm choice 2... whereby Mr. Buzan followed by reminding them that school systems have adapted choice 1."

Crazy, huh? But true.

Wait until you hear the rest of what Tony Buzan has to say and advise.

I'd love to hear what you think about Tony Buzan's view of creativity.  Just click on the COMMENTS Button below this post.

As always, I'm here for your success.
